RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas women's tennis team lost 7-0 to #28 Midwestern State in Lone Star Conference action at the UTD Tennis Courts on Friday afternoon.
The loss halted the Comets' (6-8, 3-2 LSC) three-match winning streak.
The Mustangs (12-5, 4-1 LSC) swept through to doubles to gain the first point, but all three match-ups were close. Freshman

Katia Robinson pushed #11 Emilia Gyorgy and Selin Sepken to a 7-5 decision at number two. MSU's Hattie Berend and Alessia Dolce defeated
Reika Nagai and
Elsha Valluru 6-4 in the third spot.
The visitors featured nationally-ranked players in the top two singles flights. Sepken, ranked #7 in the country, defeated Robinson 6-1, 6-3 at number one. Nagai fell to #67 Gyorgy 6-4, 6-0 at number two.
Makhija lost to Jasmine Crain 7-5, 6-2 at number five
UTD will host Cameron on Saturday at 1 p.m.
