Nassau’s breakthrough season in 2009 culminated with endless accolades, including the American Southwest Conference East Division MVP award. She totaled 248 kills—almost doubling her output from the year before—and set a new program record for single-season attack percentage (.283).

Nassau, the only out-of-state athlete in UT Dallas’ successful volleyball program, is one of the Comets’ “most coachable players”, according to head coach Marci Sanders, and continues to develop as a frontline force.

2009: Earned ASC East Division MVP honors after leading the Comets to a 25-0 record during the regular season…led UTD with 2.99 kills per set, hitting at a clip of .283…was the team’s second-leading blocker, cobbling together 59…named to the ASC All-Conference Team and the ASC East Division First Team…also named to the AVCA All-South Region, alongside UTD’s Nikki Calverley and Amber Wetz…was an honorable mention AVCA All-American.

2008: Was the team’s fourth-best offensive option, amassing 144 kills (1.67 per set)…led the Comets with 65 blocks…appeared in 86 games.

2007: Appeared in 68 games as a freshman…tallied 112 kills and 29 blocks.
