Biography
Scott, an athletic wing who has natural instincts in the post, provides aggressiveness and energy off the bench. She morphed into UT Dallas' go-to bench player in 2009-10, averaging 7.5 points and providing flashes of greatness on the offensive end of the floor.
Scott, the only non-Texas native on UTD's squad, was the team's top rebounder in eight games, and recorded a career-high 16 rebounds in a 65-50 win at Sul Ross St. on Dec. 3. A junior, Scott has one more year of eligibility.
2009-10: Averaged 7.5 points and 5.1 rebounds, playing nearly 19 minutes per contest...appeared in all 26 games, starting in none...shot a team-best 84.4% at the free throw line...named to the ASC All-Academic Team.
2008-09: Averaged 8.9 minutes per contest...scored 2.8 points per game while reeling in 2.4 rebounds.
2007-08: As a freshman, saw an average of 14.2 minutes of floor time...scored 3.6 points and 3.2 rebounds while serving a reserve role.
HIGH SCHOOL: She was a four-time all-conference standout in Jacksonville, AR, where she won All-Metro honors in her senior season and was twice her team's MVP. An honor graduate, she graduated seventh in her cclass and was a member of the National Honor Society.
