Biography

Savannah Matlock, a senior, led UT Dallas to the 2010 American Southwest Conference Tournament -- the program's first since earning a berth in 2002. A prime contributor since her freshman year, Matlock served as a No. 3 singles standout on the Comets' team in 2010, and paired with Lauren Diaz to form the No. 2 doubles squad.

2010: Finished the spring with a 6-5 overall record in singles...went 6-7, alongside Lauren Diaz, in doubles action...posted UTD's only individual win in a 7-1 loss to Mary Hardin-Baylor on April 17...named ASC East Division Player of the Week (April 21)...both she and Diaz earned ASC All-East Division nods for their work as a No. 2 doubles tandem.
