Biography

Makanani will try to join the UTD basketball team as soon as the Comet women's soccer season is over. If she can come close to matching her skills from the soccer field on the basketball court, she'll make an immediate impact.

HIGH SCHOOL: Makanani was an award-winning athlete who played both soccer and basketball at Plano West HS. Was part of three playoff teams, including a team that won the 2006 state championship. Won first-team all-district in 2008 after being voted second-team in 2007.
