At 6-1, the tallest player on UT Dallas' roster, Spence added depth to the Comets' arsenal of low post players in 2009-10. With leading scorer Rachel Addison gone, Spence may have an opportunity to slip into UTD's starting lineup in 2010-11. She scored a career-high 10 points against LeTourneau on Jan. 18, and has displayed the ability to shoot it from 3-point range.

2009-10: Averaged 2.0 points and 1.2 rebounds in 20 games...shot 72.7% from the free throw line.

HIGH SCHOOL: First Team All-District selection at Willis HS (Willis, TX)…three-time Academic All-District honoree (07-09)…played three years of varsity basketball…named a GHAGBA All Star, as well as an Academic All Star…also played four years of varsity golf (2005-08).
