A lightning-quick point guard, Jackson completed 2009-10 season after using the previous year to recover from an ACL tear she suffered during her senior year of high school.

She appeared in 16 of UT Dallas' 26 games, all in a reserve role. She split time with UTD's Nikki Kosary as the Comets' back-up floor general.

Jackson, a sophomore, currently plays outfield for UTD's softball team.

2009-10: Averaged 1.8 points per game...scored a season-high 10 points in the Comets' 75-36 win at LeTourneau on Jan. 18.

2008-09: Appeared in 18 games, averaging 2.9 points per game

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-sport athlete at Sabine HS (Gladewater, TX)…helped guide basketball team to district championship her senior year…four-time First Team All-District selection, including two-twice District Defensive MVP…named Newcomer of the Year as a freshman…named to All-East Texas Team three times and was crowned All-East Texas Defensive MVP in 2007-08 (senior year)…Selected to TABC All-Region Team in 2007-08…also earned district and regional recognition in softball, cross country and track.
