Biography

Lauren Diaz turned in a solid freshman campaign in 2010, serving up a 6-5 record at the No. 4 singles slot for UT Dallas. She is part of a successful freshman class that will seek to springboard the Comets into the American Southwest Conference Tournament again in 2011.

2010: Assembled a 6-6 overall record in singles action...was 6-7 on the doubles circuit, playing at the No. 2 spot alongside senior Savannah Matlock...both she and Matlock earned ASC All-East Division Honorable Mention nods for their work as a No. 2 doubles tandem.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played on a state semifinalist team at Klein HS (Houston, TX), where she was a four-year varsity tennis standout...also ran track in high school.

MAJOR: Biochemistry

AMBITION: Pre-Health
