Biography

One of seven freshmen on UTD’s squad in 2009, Marcum received limited playing time among a slew of veteran outside hitters. She will seek to continue her role as a defensive specialist as the Comets aim to capture their third straight American Southwest Conference title in 2010.

2009: Appeared in five matches, gathering 16 digs while committing just one receiving error.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-time All-Academic Team selection at Round Rock HS (Austin, TX)…awarded the 2006 Gatorade “Will to Win” Award…earned Academic All-State Honors…was part of a Round Rock team that won three consecutive district championships, including undefeated seasons in 2006 and 2008.
