Wiesmann played in nine matches throughout her first year at UTD, where she joined six other freshmen as part of a highly touted recruiting class in 2009. She served as the backup setter to All-American Nikki Calverley, who returns for her senior year in 2010.

2009: Dished out 58 assists in nine appearances, averaging 3.22 assists per set…also canned 10 digs.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Covenant Christian School (Willis, TX), where she led her team to four consecutive district championships and two Final Four appearances at the TAPPS 2A Texas State Tournament…was twice named an All-State selection…also selected to All-County and All-District teams…was her team’s MVP and twice named district MVP…ran track and played basketball for Covenant Christian…at the club level, she bolstered her team as it made its way to the American Division Championship at the 2008 Junior Olympics.
