Krissy Seaman became the school's first four-year member of its volleyball program in 2008, earning the status as "Team Mom" and being awarded the American Southwest Conference Fred Jacoby Sportsmanship Award. Was a three-time ASC Academic All-Conference and twice honored as a UTD Distinguished Scholar-Athlete.

2005: Seaman showed great promise as a freshman, starting most of her first season and finishing second on the team with 507 digs to go along with 2.06 kills per game.

2006: Played a more limited role in 2006 as the talent level on the team improved. Appeared in 38 games with 42 kills and 61 digs.

2007: As a veteran member of the team, helped lead the Comets to an outright East Division title. Made 90 appearances in and contributed 140 kills. Still one of the team's best blockers, contributing to 71 blocks with a team-best 0.79 average.

2008: Stepped in to fill a vacant libero spot in her final season, playing in 98 games. Earned second-team All-ASC East Division recognition by leading the team in service aces with 43. Also had 38 kills, 262 digs and 23 blocks.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Seaman played on two district championship teams at Mansfield HS, where she was first-team all-district, team captain and MVP her senior year in 2004. She also led her HS district in digs her senior season, when the team advanced to the regional quarterfinals. In 2003, Seaman also won second-team all-district honors on a team that advanced to bi-district in the playoffs. She was also a two-time qualifier at the Junior Olympic Nationals for club volleyball.
