Biography

Savannah Powers bounced back from injuries in her senior season to be part of the Comets' 2008 American Southwest Conference championship team.

2007: Was limited as a junior by nagging injuries after transferring from Galveston College. Appeared in 47 games, tallying 40 kills.

2008: Hit a respectable .231 with 57 kills in her final season, appearing ing 53 games. Also was part of 21 blocks.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a team MVP, Offensive Player of the Year and All-District player at Baytown Lee HS, graduating near the top of her class.

MAJOR: Secondary Education.

AMBITION: High School Teacher / Coach
