Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 | Box Score 4 ST. LOUIS, MO (09.03.11) - The UT Dallas volleyball finished the Bears Classic, hosted by Washington University-St. Louis, on Sunday with another split of matches, wrapping up the event 2-2.

The Comets (3-2) dropped their first match on Saturday, 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-21), to DePauw, but rebounded for marathon victory over Rose-Hulman later in the day, edging the Fightin' Engineers, 3-2 (25-21, 25-17, 22-25, 23-25, 15-10).

On Sunday, UTD was handed a three-set loss to #3-ranked Washington, falling 25-14, 25-12, 25-17, but answered with a sweep of Carroll (Wis.), 25-16, 25-21, 25-16, to close out the classic.

Junior outside hitter Dana Hilzendager was named to the event's All-Tournament Team.

The Comets return to to the floor Tuesday, Sept. 13, when they visit Mary Hardin-Baylor in the start of American Southwest Conference East Division play. Start time is 7 p.m. in Belton.
