Halee Brewer, the team aims to make a strong impression in one of the nation's premier volleyball conferences.
Last season, the UT Dallas volleyball squad wrapped up Division III play with a 9-9 record. This year marks a transformative chapter, with the team stepping into the competitive arena of the LSC, known for its rigorous play and history of national championship success. The conference's challenging nature will test the team both physically and through the added factor of travel.

Burkhardt, Hernandez and Sabin were among the 54 student-athletes on the LSC Preseason Players to Watch list.
The 2025 season kicks off with early tests at the Patriot Classic in Tyler, Texas, followed by the Reddie-Tiger Invitational in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, and the LSC Challenge in Austin, Texas. These tournaments will provide valuable experience as the team prepares for its conference opener.
The home and LSC opener on September 26 against Oklahoma Christian offers a thrilling start to the conference schedule. The UTD Activity Center has added two new videoboards, enhancing the game-day experience. All conference games will also be streamed on FloCollege, ensuring fans can follow the Comets' journey.
UT Dallas is ranked 14th out of 18 in the Lone Star Conference Preseason Poll, reflecting both the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Villarreal emphasizes the importance of focusing on "little things" like preparation and communication, which serve as the foundation for success against higher competition.
