RICHARDSON, TX (10.21.14) - For as much trouble the UT Dallas volleyball team has had on the road this season, there is no place like home for the Comets this fall as UTD cruised past Texas-Tyler, 3-0, in American Southwest Conference play Tuesday night. The Comets avenged a 3-1 road loss at UT-Tyler earlier in the season.

With the win, UTD draws within a match of the third-place Patriots with three matches left on the conference schedule. The Comets return to action Friday at 6 p.m. as they host No. 24-ranked Mary Hardin-Baylor.

Meredith Crawford and three more kills from Toso to pull away late after the Patriots drew with two points, 20-18. UTD used four blocks in the second set and took advantage of nine Patriots errors to grab a 2-0 lead.
UTD regained its form in the third and final set, hitting .393 as a team with 13 kills and just two errors. Jordan, Toso and
