LONGVIEW, TX (10.28.14) - The UT Dallas volleyball team picked up its seventh straight win Tuesday night as the Comets closed out the American Southwest Conference slate with a 3-0 win at LeTourneau, 25-10, 25-17, 25-14.
Not only was it the seventh straight win for the Comets (now 18-8, 12-4 ASC), but the seventh consecutive sweep of an opponent. UTD has now won its last 21 sets dating back to a four-match losing streak earlier in the month. UTD also claimed victory in 21 straight sets in 2009, during the Comets' historic 25-match winning streak.
The Comets hit .323 as a team, committing just seven errors in the entire match, while collecting eight blocks and eight aces in the short sweep of the Lady Jackets.
Senior
Taylour Toso, the reigning ASC Offensive Player of the Week, continued her hot play, leading UTD with 10 kills and a .444 hitting percentage and adding six blocks.

Samantha Schwenke and
Michelle Toro each finished the match with seven kills. Crawford led UTD with 15 digs while setter
Kayla Jordan ended the match with 33 assists, averaging 11.0 assists per set.
The Comets wrap up the regular season Saturday with a pair of matches at the Southwestern Halloween Tournament in Georgetown. UTD will face Austin College at 1:30 p.m. before playing host Southwestern at 4 p.m.
