GEORGETOWN, TX (10.03.14) - In their first of two tough matches on Friday, the UT Dallas volleyball team suffered a three-set loss to No. 10-ranked Elmhurst. The Comets fell 25-18, 25-16, 25-16, to the Bluejays and will next face Texas Lutheran at 2 p.m.

Meredith Crawford led UTD with eight kills in the loss while Michelle Toro added seven kills and Holyn Handley finished with five kills. The Comets hit just .143 for the match and committed five service errors as a team. UTD setter Kayla Jordan ended the match with 20 assists while Crawford had a match-high 13 digs.
