GEORGETOWN, TX (10.03.14) - The UT Dallas volleyball team wrapped up its quick two-match trip south Friday afternoon with a 3-0 loss to Texas Lutheran.
The Comets (now 11-6) fell to TLU, 31-29, 25-20, 26-24. Earlier in the day, UTD dropped a 3-0 decision to No. 10-ranked Elmhurst. The Comets continue their weekend road trip Saturday with a 2 p.m. match at Texas-Tyler in American Southwest Conference play.
Taylour Toso led the Comets with 18 kills, one shy of the UTD three-set match record, while hitting at at .340 clip with 16 digs and a pair of blocks. This marked the second time this season in which Toso had recorded 18 kills in a three-set match.
Meredith Crawford ended with eight kills while
Holyn Handley added six kills. UTD hit .142 as a team.

Kayla Jordan finished the match with 41 assists while Crawford and Aimee Wilhelm each finished with a team-best 22 digs.
