ASHLAND, VA (03.18.15) - The UT Dallas men's tennis team wrapped up its four-match road trip on the east coast Wednesday with a 6-3 win over Randolph-Macon. UTD posted a 2-2 mark during the Spring Break trip, also picking up a road win over Hampden-Sydney.
The Comets (2-3) opened their four-match trip Monday with an 8-1 loss at Washington College (MD) and then picked up their first win of the season Tuesday, 8-1 over Hampden-Sydney. UTD then fell, 7-0, to NCAA Division I Longwood Tuesday night before picking up Wednesday's win over RMC.
UTD returns to action March 27 when the Comets open American Southwest Conference West Division play at home against Howard Payne.

UTD finished doubles down, 2-1, and dropped all six singles matches to the Shoremen.
Kalee Kuhn was the only Comet to force a third set, falling to WC's Ryan Holtschneider, 1-6, 7-6, 10-4, at No. 3 singles.

Ryan Morton battled HSC's J.B. Weaver/Jed Dittmar for a 9-7 win while Norris and Lie earned their second win of the road trip, edging Patrick Bryant/David Anderson, 8-6, at No. 2.
Ravula, Morton, Kuhn and Norris each picked up straight set wins at No. 1 through No. 4 singles, respectively, while Lie and
Andres Peirano ended the match with three-sets at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively.
LU 7, UTD 0Â BOX SCOREAfter dropping all three doubles matches, the Comets only trailed Longwood, 1-0, thanks to NCAA D-I scoring rules. However, the Lancers would roll through singles play with six straight-set wins.
UTD 6, RMC 3Â BOX SCOREThe Comets grabbed a 2-1 lead after doubles played and earned fours singles win to end the road tip with a 6-3 victory over Randolph-Macon.
Ravula and Morton claimed an 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles while Lie and Norris picked up a 9-8 win at No. 2 doubles. Ravula (No. 1), Morton (No. 2), Kuhn (No. 3) and Peirano (No. 6) each earned singles victories.
