MARSHALL, Texas - The UT Dallas volleyball team lost a four-set American Southwest Conference match to first place East Texas Baptist Tuesday night.
The Tigers (15-2, 8-0 ASC) took the match from the Comets (6-10, 5-3 ASC) 22-25, 25-12, 25-18, 25-12.
The first set saw 10 ties and seven lead changes before UTD came out on top. ETBU built a 15-1 lead in the second frame and tied the match at a set a piece. The Tigers went on to take the final two sets.
The Comets hit .045 with 31 kills, six aces, six blocks and 56 digs. ETBU hit .227 on 51 kills, 15 aces, 10 blocks and 68 digs.
UT Dallas Notes
- Senior outside hitter
Erin Rogers led the UTD offense with 13 kills.

Emma Sevening recorded her second double-double of the year with 11 assists and 11 digs.
- Senior setter
Izzy Sundquist had 13 assists and nine digs.

Laura See recorded three block assists each.
- Freshman libero
Mari Hernandez led all players with 17 digs and had two aces.
East Texas Baptist Notes
- Graycee Mosley led the Tigers with 20 kills and added 11 digs.
- Avery Reid had 14 kills, seven aces and seven digs.
- Sydney Temple had 21 assists while Lexi Moody recorded 19.Â
- Grace Williamson posted six kills and six blocks.
- Libero Lillie Hill came up with 16 digs.
