AUSTIN, Texas - The UT Dallas volleyball defeated Concordia Texas 26-24, 25-17, 25-16 at Concordia Fieldhouse in American Southwest Conference competition Saturday afternoon.
With the win, the Comets (9-12, 7-4) complete the season sweep of the Tornados (1-21, 1-12 ASC). UTD also remains in third place in the league standings with three matches left.
The Comets led for the majority of the first set, but held off the home team 26-24. Both teams struggled offensively in the second set, but UTD pulled out another game. They finished off Concordia by hitting .353 on 16 kills in the third.
The Comets hit .208 with 38 kills, eight aces, five blocks and 47 digs. The Tornados recorded a .122 attack percentage with 28 kills, two aces, six blocks and 47 digs.

Erin Rogers paced the Comets with nine kills and registered a pair of blocks.
