RICHARDSON, Texas - UT Dallas freshman Snehin Yerragudi was named the American Southwest Conference East Division Men's Tennis Player of the Week on Tuesday.

The Cedar Park, Texas native opened the 2023 season by winning at both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles in the Comets' 7-2 win at Mary Hardin-Baylor. He defeated Joaquim Fernandes 6-3, 6-0 and teamed with Eddy Shteyn to top Fernandes and Nicolas Cusano 8-5.

Yerragudi and the Comets will be back in action on Saturday, February 18 when they host #38 Hardin-Simmons at noon.
