RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas volleyball earned a five-set 19-25, 25-19, 21-25, 25-12, 15-13 win against Concordia Texas in American Southwest Conference play at UTD Activity Center Friday night.
The victory is the third in a row for the Comets (3-8, 2-1 ASC), who overcame a 2-1 set deficit against the Tornados (1-11, 1-5 ASC).
UTD found momentum in the fourth set as they hit .310 with 11 kills while Concordia had a -.074 attack rate.Â
The final game was the most hotly contested as the teams exchanged the lead on four occasions and were tied six times. After being tied 11-11, the Comets scored four of the final six points to take the league contest. They hit .409 in the fifth with 10 kills and only one error.
For the match, UTD had a .215 attack percentage while recording 59 kills, 16 aces, eight blocks and 79 digs. CTX hit .183 with 51 kills, nine aces, five blocks and 88 digs.

- The Comets improve to 27-4 all-time against the Tornados.

- Presley Bunting led the Tornados with 13 kills to go with 20 digs.
- Rayna Pack hit .423 with 12 kills.
- Kaitlyn Ruiz recorded 24 assists and 12 digs.
- Isabella Martinez had 23 digs and five aces out of the libero spot.
- Camryn Parker posted four blocks, including two solo.
