RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas volleyball lost a hard fought, five-set American Southwest Conference match to Mary Hardin-Baylor 25-20, 21-25, 25-22, 11-25, 15-13 Saturday afternoon at the UTD Activity Center.
Down two sets to one, the Comets (3-9, 2-2 ASC) dominated the fourth set as the Cru (15-1, 5-1) hit -.033 in the frame. UTD led 11-9 in the final game, but UMHBÂ ended the match on a 6-2 run.
The Comets hit .236 with 64 kills, eight aces, seven blocks and 85 digs. The Cru posted a .196 percentage with 59 kills, four aces, five blocks and 94 digs.

Laura See powered the Comet offense, combining for 38 kills.
- Johnson shattered her career-high with 23 kills, hitting .488 and coming up with four blocks.

Bailey Schievelbein had her fifth double-double of the season and third consecutive with 14 kills and 12 digs.

Emma Sevening came up with 27 assists and five digs, while fellow senior
Izzy Sundquist had 25 assists, three aces and 10 digs.

Rachel Baxter had 13 digs.
Mary Hardin-Baylor Notes
- Hannah Frasca paced the Cru with 21 kills and 23 digs while hitting .391.
- Kate Warden added 16 kills.
- Kendall Harrington had a double-double of 26 assists and 10 digs and served three aces.
- Libero Maddie Gillispie posted 15 digs.
