RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas women's basketball team rolled to a 79-57 victory over LeTourneau in American Southwest Conference action at the UTD Activity Center Saturday afternoon.
The Comets (11-4, 4-3 ASC) led from pillar to post, building a 26-11 advantage by the end of the first quarter. They continued to lead the YellowJackets (5-11, 2-6 ASC) 43-21 at halftime. UTD extended the differential to as much as 29 in the second half.
The Comets shot 42.9 percent (30-for-70) from the field, 9-for-22 from three-point range and converted a season-best 90.9 percentage (10-for-11) at the free throw line. They also recorded 34 rebounds, 22 assists, 14 turnovers, five blocks and tied a season-high of 15 steals.
LeTourneau shot 39.1 percent (18-for-46) overall, 3-for-12 from three-point range and 18-of-22 from the free throw line with 36 boards, 15 assists, 30 turnovers, six blocks and eight steals.
The 30 turnovers was most forced by UTD this season.

Anna Yellen recorded a career-high eight points, going 2-for-3 from three-point range.

- Bailey Broughton led the YellowJackets with 12 points and three assists.
- Allie Buchanan went 4-for-6 off the bench, recording 11 points and six rebounds.

- Lacie Williams led all players with nine rebounds.
