RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas volleyball team lost in 25-17, 25-20, 17-25, 25-13 to #10 East Texas Baptist at the UTD Activity Center Saturday afternoon.
The visiting Tigers (19-1) took the first set after hitting .389 with 18 kills. After being tied at 15-15 in the second, the pulled away with a10-5 run to go up 2-0 in sets.
The Comets (7-7) rebounded with a third frame victory after hitting .300 on 14 kills and only two errors. ETBU won the match with a .379 percentage in the fourth game.
For the match, UTD hit .172 on 45 kills with six aces, six blocks and 61 digs. ETBU hit .263 with 53 kills, eight aces, seven blocks and 65 digs.
UT Dallas Notes
- Freshman outside hitter
Alina Strickler recorded her seventh double-double of the year with 13 kills and 11 digs.
- Sophomore middle blocker
Laura See hit a team-high .471 with nine kills and three blocks.

Sophia Bailey came up with five kills and four blocks.
- Freshman setter
Kira Braun recorded 17 assists and 13 digs for her third double-double of the season.

- Outside hitter Graycee Mosley led the Tigers with 17 kills, 20 digs and three aces.
- Avery Reid had 11 kills and three blocks.
- Hannah Perry hit .368 with nine kills.
- McKenzie Mansell and Lexi Moody combined for 45 assists.
- Emily Millikan added four kills and five blocks
