RICHARDSON, Texas - UT Dallas sophomore Benjamin Dubois was named the American Southwest Conference East Division Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the second time this season on Tuesday.

Dubois, from McKinney, Texas, was 2-0 at both #4 singles and #1 doubles with partner Andres Gonzalez against two of the top teams from ASC West Division. He defeated Payne Smith from Hardin-Simmons 6-3, 6-2 and earned a doubles victory 8-7 (7-5) over the Cowboys. Dubois went on to defeat Kishan Kersten from Concordia Texas 6-2, 2-6, 6-3 and win in doubles 8-4 against Joshua Bode and Adrian Munguia.

Dubois is now 9-2 on the season in singles and boasts and 8-3 record in doubles.

The Comets will play at Tyler Junior College in an exhibition on Thursday at 2 p.m. and battle ASC East Division rival East Texas Baptist in Marshall at 3 p.m. Saturday.
