TYLER, Texas - The UT Dallas men's tennis team finished played at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association South Central Regional with four matches on Friday.

In the Singles Consolation Second Round, Comet graduate student Travis Rafferty pushed the fifth-seeded Stephen Slocombe of Midwestern State to three sets, before being eliminated 4-6, 6-3, 10-2.

UTD had a pair of doubles teams play in the Consolation Quarterfinals. Rafferty and junior Benjamin Dubois were eliminated by Juan David Duque and Jose Marquez from MSU 8-7 (7-4). Junior Snehin Yerragudi and sophomore Abraar Iqbal defeated MSU's Filip Vacula and Rowen Olsen 8-6.

Yerragudi and Iqbal were eliminated by Alexandre Sulpicy and Blas Ruiz of Lubbock Christian 8-5 in the Semifinals.

The regional wraps up the fall portion of the schedule for the Comets.
