GEORGETOWN, Texas - The UT Dallas volleyball team finished the Southwestern Fall Invitational with a 25-15, 21-25, 25-13, 25-14 loss to Texas Lutheran at the Robertson Center Saturday morning.

The Comets' (2-2) match was highlighted by a second set win, where they hit .225 with 15 kills, while holding the Bulldogs (3-2) to a .158 percentage on nine kills.

For the match, UTD hit .140 with 42 kills, seven aces, two blocks and 62 digs. TLU hit .333 on 52 kills, 13 aces, seven blocks and 69 digs.

UT Dallas Notes
- Sophomore middle blocker Laura See hit .500 with 11 kills and a pair of aces.
- Freshman outside hitter Alina Strickler recorded her second consecutive double-double with 15 kills and 14 digs, both season bests.
- Bailey Schievelbein and Lauren Petty each added five kills.
- Freshman setter Kira Brain had 22 assists, an ace and seven digs.
- Setter Sydney Sabin added 15 assists.
- Libero Mari Hernandez led the Comets with 20 digs.
- Freshman Averi Frazier came up with nine digs and an ace.
- The Comets are now 16-8 all-time against the Bulldogs

Texas Lutheran Notes
- Brylie Nedd led TLU with 14 kills and eight aces to go with 13 digs.
- Ryann Ely had 10 kills.
- Andie Lozano-Lomell and Zaria Solis each posted eight kills and six blocks.
- Faith Coldeway led the Bulldogs with 20 digs.
- Shavonne Respondek recorded 21 assists and 12 digs.
- Julia Chew had 17 assists and 11 digs.
