RICHARDSON, Texas- UT Dallas freshman outside hitter Jane Bukrhardt was named the Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.

Burkhardt, from Phoenix, Ariz. hit .315 while averaging 5.56 kills and 3.00 digs per set, helping the Comets wrap up the season with a pair of victories. In Friday's four-set win over DBU, she hit .328 with 24 kills and 17 digs. Burkhardt followed with 26 kills and 10 digs in Saturday's five-set win against Texas Woman's.

She finished the season ranked fourth in the LSC with 3.56 kills per set and third with 4.02 points per set.
