SAN ANGELO, Texas – UT Dallas' Jane Burkhardt and Sydney Sabin were recognized in the Lone Star Conference awards at the league's Championship Tournament banquet Wednesday night.

Burkhardt, an outside hitter from Phoenix, Ariz., was named to the All-LSC Second Team and the All-Freshman Team. She ranked third in the conference with 4.02 points per set and was fourth with 3.56 kills. Burkhardt recorded 367 kills, 21 aces, 297 digs and 42 blocks. She also broke the school record with 32 kills in a match.

Sabin, a junior setter and defensive specialist from Frisco, Texas, was selected to the All-Academic Team. She led the LSC with 52 aces and 0.50 per set while recording 267 assists and 258 digs. Sabin also had the second-most aces in a match in program history with nine. She is a Business Administration major with a 4.00 GPA.
