BAYAMON, P.R. - The UT Dallas women's basketball team completed the Puerto Rico Clasico with its second consecutive dominating performance Wednesday at Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum. The Comets (2-3) defeated Puerto Rico-Mayaguez (0-5) 77-43.
UTD started the game with a 25-0 lead, while the Tarzans missed their first 18 shots. The Comets led by as many as 38 points late in the fourth quarter.
UTD shot 42.9 percent (24-for-56) overall, 9-of-30 from three-point range and 20-of-30 at the free throw line. They also came up with 47 rebounds, 15 assists, 21 turnovers, five blocked shots and 13 steals.
UPRM ended up shooting 30 percent (15-of-50) from the field, 3-of-15 from outside and 10-of-21 from the line with 23 boards, nine assists, 21 turnovers, one blocked shot and 13 steals.

Raven Busby led UTD with 13 points and three steals.

- Paola Hernandez-Santiago led the Tarzans with 14 points and seven rebounds.
