RICHARDSON, Texas - Five UT Dallas student-athletes were named to the 2026 Academic All-District® Softball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must carry a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and play in 90 percent of games, start in 66 percent of games or pitch 35 innings.

Claire Pollack were honored by the organization.
Koch, a junior pitcher from Colleyville, Texas, won two games with one complete game start. She struck out 30 batters in 44.2 innings. Koch is a two-time CSC Academic All-District selection and a Professional Communication and Digital Media Studies major.
Maniscalco, a sophomore utility player from Wantagh, N.Y., hit .284 with 33 hits, 14 runs, 17 RBI, four home runs and a school-record 17 doubles. She is majoring in Psychology.
Martin, a senior catcher from Billings, Mont., led UTD with a .328 average and five home runs with 43 hits, 19 runs, eight doubles, two triples and 23 runs batted in. She is majoring in Accounting.
Olenick, a sophomore shortstop from Houston, hit .250 with 23 hits, 18 runs scored, one double, one home run, 14 RBI, 21 walks and three stolen bases. She is majoring in Healthcare Studies.
Pollack, a junior second baseman from League City, Texas, led the Comets with 45 hits and 28 runs scored while hitting .313 with four doubles, one triple, two home runs, 13 RBI and three steals. Pollack is now a three-time CSC Academic All-District pick and is majoring in Biology.
