RICHARDSON, Texas – UT Dallas senior softball student-athlete Allison Koch has been selected to serve as a Marketing and Engagement Intern with Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society that recognizes student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically.
A pitcher from Colleyville, Texas, Koch has distinguished herself throughout her career as one of the Comets' top student-athletes in the classroom. She is a two-time Academic All-ASC selection, a two-time College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honoree and was named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll. Koch was also inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma during the 2025-26 academic year.
As part of her internship, Koch will assist with chapter services, social media management, graphic design, strategic planning and membership expansion for the national organization.
"I am so excited to be a Marketing and Engagement Intern with Chi Alpha Sigma!" said Koch. "I will assist in chapter services, social media management, graphic design, strategic planning, and membership expansion.

UT Dallas joined Chi Alpha Sigma in 2023 as the Texas Rho Chapter. The organization was founded in 1996 to recognize student-athletes who achieve a high level of success in both academics and athletics while fostering lifelong connections among its members.
To be eligible for Chi Alpha Sigma membership, student-athletes must achieve at least junior academic standing and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Since the university's acceptance into the honor society, more than 100 UT Dallas student-athletes have been inducted into the chapter.
Koch's selection for the internship reflects the values that have defined her career as a Comet, combining academic excellence, athletic participation and leadership. Through the role, she will help advance Chi Alpha Sigma's mission while gaining professional experience that will support her career goals after graduation.
