Kayla Jordan was named the Co-Most Valuable Player of the American Southwest Conference East Division and was one of six UT Dallas volleyball players honored Wednesday as the ASC released its all-conference teams.

Marci Sanders and
Zach Villarreal were named the ASC East's Coaching Staff of the Year.
A native of Deer Park, Jordan leads NCAA Division III with 11.90 assist per set heading into this weekend's ASC Tournament. Jordan was a four-time ASC East Offensive Player of the Week this season, giving her a school-record seven honors during her career, and adds 2.38 digs and a .264 hitting percentage. Jordan became the Comets' all-time assists leader early in the season. She becomes a four-time All-ASC honoree during her career, earning her third straight first team All-ASC nod.
Handley, an outside hitter from Grapevine, leads the Comets and ranks second in the ASC with 3.39 kills per set while adding 2.54 digs and 0.65 blocks per set. The Colleyville Heritage High School product was a third team All-ASC honoree as a sophomore and an honorable mention all-conference selection as a freshman. Handley boasts a .247 hitting percentage.
Toro, a middle blocker from Flower Mound, has a league-best .381 hitting percentage entering the ASC Tournament and ranks second on the team, fifth in the ASC, with 3.16 kills per set. The Marcus High School product ranks fifth in the ASC with 1.08 blocks per set and was named ASC East Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 20. Toro earned third team All-ASC honors as a sophomore.
An outside hitter of Roanoke, Barth picked up her third All-ASC honor after missing the 2014 season due to injury. A second team All-ASC performer as a freshman and sophomore, Barth lead the Comets and ranked third in the ASC with 5.22 digs per set. The Nolan Catholic High School product added 1.89 kills along with a .203 hitting percentange and 32 aces, second most on the squad. Barth was a two-time ASC Player of the Week this season for the Comets.
Zeng, a native of Plano, moved into the Comets' role at libero midway into the season and ranks second on the squad and fourth in the ASC with 4.95 digs per set. A three-time ASC Defensive Player of the for the Comets this season, the Plano West High School product led UTD with 37 aces.
An outside hitter from Flower Mound, Schott has collected 2.37 kills, 3.68 digs and 0.49 blocks per set while hitting at a .192 clip. She was named ASC East Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 13.
In their 12th season with the Comets, Sanders and Villarreal have now been honored by the league seven times. Sanders earned ASC East Coach of the Year in 2006 and 2007 while the duo was named Coaching Staff of the Year on four occasions (2008, 2009, 2010, 2013) prior to this season.
The Comets are currently ranked No. 15 in NCAA Division III and boast a 27-2 overall record, riding a 20-match winning streak heading into the postseason. UTD won the ASC East title with a perfect 11-0 league mark.
