RICHARDSON, TX (02.01.19) - Fifty UT Dallas student-athletes were recognized as the American Southwest Conference released its Academic All-ASC teams for fall sports Friday.

Comet women's soccer leads the pack with 13 selections while volleyball had 12 picks, men's soccer 11, men's cross country eight and women's cross country six. Full list of honorees below.

To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified academically as a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student during the competition season and have been in attendance and completed at least one academic year (two consecutive semesters) at the certifying institution. In addition he/she must have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average based on a 4.0 scale as certified at the conclusion of the academic semester in which the ASC sport championship is held. Honoree must also be a letter winner in the season to be honored.
