ABILENE, TX (02.06.21) - The UT Dallas men's and women's cross country teams wrapped up the regular season Saturday morning as the Comets competed at the Bill Libby Invitational, hosted by McMurry.

Hannah Bennett recorded another top 10 finish as she completed the six-kilometer course in a personal-best time of 25:13, placing seventh. However, the Comet women only had four runners complete the race, keeping them out of the team standings.
Anna Schaeffer placed 12th with a time of 25:41,
Mackenzie Salmonson was 23rd at 27:17 and
Jocelyn Heckenkamp was 30th at 30:02.
The UTD men placed fourth in the all-American Soutwest Conference seven-team field with 77 points. Host McMurry claimed the team title with 60 points, just ahead of crosstown rival Hardin-Simmons (65) and third-place LeTourneau (67).
Graeme Maclean posted another strong performance, placing second overall with a time of 26:45 in the eight-kilometer race.
Trent Sakakini joined Maclean in the top 10, placing sixth at 27:17.
Devan Bailey placed 12th at 28:16,
Justin Ardis 28th at 30:34 and
John Joseph 32nd at 30:56.
The Comet men and women will officially wrap up the 2020-21 season Saturday, Feb. 20, at the ASC Championships in Round Rock.
