RICHARDSON, Texas - UT Dallas sophomore Frank Douglas was named the American Southwest Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the third time this year on Tuesday.

Douglas, from Rockwall, Texas recorded the sixth-fastest 8K time in school history in 25:39.5 on Saturday at the DBU Old Glory Gallop. He finished 67th out of 400 runners and has been UTD's top finisher in all four meets this season.

Douglas is the second Comet to win the Runner of the Week award three times in his career.

The Comets will wrap up the season on Saturday, October 18 at the Watson Invitational in Clinton, Miss.
