Keely Fillman were among the 24 graduating student-athletes from the 12 American Southwest Conference member institutions who were honored by the conference and their institutions as 2020-21 ASC Scholar-Athlete Medal of Honor recipients.

The ASC Scholar-Athlete Medal of Honor is presented to one male and one female member of the graduating class who has compiled the most outstanding record in academics, athletics and leadership over their collegiate career. The award is presented annually by the Faculty Athletics Representative at each conference member institution.
Recipients of the 2020-21 ASC Scholar-Athlete Medal of Honor represent 12 different conference sports and include individuals who graduated with academic honors, hold admission to graduate-level programs, are members of academic honor societies and campus organizations; competed on national, conference or division title teams; earned Academic All-America, ASC All-Academic, Distinguished Scholar-Athlete and All-Conference honors; and who served as volunteers, tutors and mentors within the campus and the community.
Playing in 98 games over his four-year career with the Comets, Pruitt closed his impressive career ranked second all-time at UT Dallas in blocked shots. A second team All-ASC pick as a junior and an honorable mention selection as a senior, Pruitt was a three-time Academic All-ASC honoree for the Comets. He made 67 starts during his four years with the program, averaging 8.7 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. Boasting a grade point average of 3.97, Pruitt helped lead the Comets to the ASC title in 2019 and two trips to the NCAA Division III National Tournament during his career.
The first All-American in program history, Fillman wrapped up her career with the Comets by leading her squad to the ASC title game for the first time since 2013. A four-time first team All-ASC selection over her career, Fillman became the first women's soccer All-American at UT Dallas as a sophomore when she collected third team honors from the United Soccer Coaches. A two-time all-region pick for the Comets, she was named the ASC's Co-Midfielder of the Year as a senior. Fillman played in 60 games over her four years with UTD, making 58 starts, and closed her career with 24 goals and 18 assists for 66 points. She ranks ninth all-time at UTD in goals and 11th in points. A three-time Academic All-ASC selection for the Comets, Fillman was twice during her career.
