DENTON, Texas - The UT Dallas track & field teams braved a rainy Saturday at the Bill Schmidt Invite at the UNT Soccer & Track Stadium.
For the men, freshman
Nicholas Holland finished the 1,500-meter in 4:13.29, placing 16th. Freshman
Nick Hofer cleared the high jump at 1.80 meters (5 ft-.10.75 in.), finishing ninth.
Senior
Jayden Chambless finished 15th in the 5,000 with a time of 16:09.37. Freshman
Matthew Okansen was the Comets' top finisher in the 100 in 11.12 seconds, tying for 36th, and the 200 meters in 22.57 seconds for 19th place.

Rowen Hughes claimed fifth place in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:07.79 and was 16th in the 100 hurdles with a time of 16.49 seconds. Sophomore
Ellie Suo-Anttila was a seventh-place finisher in 5:07.79 in the 1,500 meters, shaving 9.5 seconds off her personal best. Freshman
Madison Avery was also seventh in the 400 meters in 1:02.93.
