CANYON, Texas - The UT Dallas track & field team finished off the 2026 season at the Lone Star Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the WTAMU Track & Field Complex on Saturday. The Comet men finished the meet in eighth place out of 12 teams with 34 points, while the women were 11th out of 13 teams with seven points.
UTD broke five more team records on Saturday, bringing the total to 14 on the weekend.
Comet Men's Highlights
- Sophomore
Alex Bozhilov followed his 10,000-meter win from Thursday with a fourth-place finish in the 5K in 15:04.41. He earned All-LSC FIrst Team honors.

Jay Hicks,
Liam Simmons and
Blake Rippy finished fourth in the 4x100 relay in 40.33 seconds. They broke the school record in the event for the fifth time this season.
- The 4x400 relay team of
Franklin Perez, Rippy,
Matthew Oksanen and Simmons took sixth place with a school record of 3:13.37. They broke the mark by 1.73 seconds.
- Freshman
David Vasquez picked up two points by placing seventh in the 400-meter hurdles finals in 54.93 seconds.
- Junior
JD Koller also scored a point with a javelin throw of 49.77 meters (163 ft.-3 in.), finishing eighth.
- Sophomore
Nick Hofer cleared 1.85 meters (6 ft.-.75 in.) in the high jump for a 10th-place finish.
Comet Women's Highlights
- Freshman
Saniya Bosby was UTD's top finisher of the meet with a fifth-place high jump of 1.68 meters (5 ft.-6 in.). The height was a new school record.
- The 4x100 squad of
Tia Billingsly,
Michelle Bakare,
E'Mon Mason and
Mariah Gibson broke their school record for the fourth time this season, placing sixth in 46.59 seconds.
- Mason, Gibson,
Abby Ellisor and
Nahia Kelley shattered the 4x400 relay school record by 5.53 seconds. They finished ninth in 3:51.64.
- Senior
Chisom Mbah wrapped up her career with a ninth-place finish in the shot put and a mark of 11.71 meters (38 ft.-5 in.).
- Sophomore
Alexia Callahan had a 5,000-meter time of 20:02.74, placing 20th.Â
