Saniya Bosby each broke a school record on the first day of the TCU Alumni Invite at the Lowdon Track and Field Complex Friday.
The Comets only competed in field events on the first day of the outdoor track & field season.
Tucker, from Hurst, Texas, broke his own school record by seven inches, throwing a distance of 38.59 meters (126 ft.-7 in.).Â
Bosby, from Rowlett, Texas, cleared 1.60 meters (5 ft.-3 in.), besting the old mark of 1.56 meters set in 2022. She finished ninth in the event.
Sophomore
Nick Hofer placed ninth in the men's high jump with a mark of 1.85 meters (6 ft.-.75 in.).Â
Senior
Chisom Mbah recorded a discus throw of 30.31 meters (99 ft.-5 in.).
The rest of the squad will compete on Saturday, beginning with the women's 5,000 meters at 9 a.m.
