Box Score BROWNWOOD, TX (09.13.14) - The UT Dallas volleyball team (9-2 overall) improved to 3-0 in American Southwest Conference play Saturday afternoon with a 3-1 victory over winless Howard Payne.

HOLYN HANDLEY HAD 18 KILLS FOR UTD.UTD cruised past the YellowJackets 25-17, 25-21, 25-27, 25-11 for the win.
Holyn Handley paced the Comets with 18 kills, as UTD hit close to .300 in the three winning sets.
Meredith Crawford contributed an all-around effort, putting down 12 kills to go with 3 service aces and a team-high 26 digs.
Taylour Toso added 11 kills while
Kayla Jordan piled 51 assists on to her career record. Jordan is closing in on UTD's all-time assist records, currently held by former All-American Niki Calverley.
Freshman
Allie Harman had a big afternoon at the net, picking up four solo and five assisted blocks. Handley and
Michelle Toro combined for 11 assisted blocks as UTD was credited with 32 total blocks.
Now riding a six-match win streak, the Comets return home next Saturday afternoon for a 2 pm match against Sul Ross State.
