RICHARDSON, Texas - The #6/7 UT Dallas women's golf team claimed its fourth team title of the season by winning the Texas Cup by 18 shots at Sherrill Park Golf Course Monday.

Senior Karen Lee also won her third tournament of the year, firing a 74-69=143 (-1).

The Comets fired a 309-317=626 (+5), besting #20/20 Trinity (Texas) who had a +68. Concordia Texas was third with a +75 in the nine-time field.

Lee's 69 on Monday tied for the second-best single round and the record for lowest round to par with teammate Karen Alvarez, who did the same in the first round on Sunday. Lee's 36-hole score of 143 tied her own record for lowest score in UTD history.

Alvarez finished third with a 69-84=153 (+9) to make the All-Tournament Team. Sofia Trevino tied for fifth with an 80-80=160 (+16). Maddy Vilven was 17th with an 86-84=170 (+26).

UTD will be back on the course at the Linda Lowery Invitational in Austin, Texas on March 27.
