Zach Sell each broke a school track & field record at the John McDonnell Invitational at John McDonnell Field Friday evening.
In the event hosted by Division I powerhouse Arkansas, Sell placed 10th in the 400-meter hurdles in 54.79, shaving nearly a second off his previous school record. He also took 18th in the 110 hurdles in 14.82 seconds.
Sell ranks 38th in NCAA Division III in the 110 hurdles and 42nd in the 400 hurdles.
Maclean shattered the two-year old 1,500-meter run record by almost two seconds, placing 23rd in 3:55.61.
The Comets will compete in the American Southwest Conference Championship in Abilene, Texas beginning Thursday, April 25.
