DENTON, Texas - The UT Dallas track & field teams set nine new school records at the Mean Green Invitational hosted by North Texas on Saturday.
UT Dallas Men's Notes
- Freshman
Zach Sell broke two records with a pair of fifth place finishes. He made the 110 meter hurdle finals and shaved almost a half second off his previous mark in 14.74 seconds. He also broke a year old record in the high jump, clearing 1.80 meters (5 ft.-10.75 in.).
- Sophomore
Joseph Hussey broke his own triple jump record with a leap of 12.52 meters (41 ft.-1 in.), placing fourth.
- In his first meet of the season, junior
Jackson Tucker finished sixth with a discus throw of 38.41 meters (126 ft.), beating his old mark by nearly two feet.
- Senior
Kameron Quinn was 14th in the 100 meter dash with a new record of 10.60 seconds.

Muaaz Makda were third in the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:27.30 and fourth in the 4x100 in 42.10 seconds.

Chisom Mbah shattered her year-old discus record by 10 ft.-2 in., throwing it 33.60 meters (110 ft.-3 in.) and placing seventh.

Amaiyah Harrison shaved 1.12 seconds off her previous 100 meter hurdle record in 16.64, finishing ninth.

Randi Beckham set a new 200 mark in 26.32 second for 32nd place.
