LAWTON, Okla. - The UT Dallas women's golf team finished in fourth place at the Oklahoma Intercollegiate at the Lawton Country Club Tuesday.
The Comets shot a 305-317=622 for a +54. Host Cameron won the tournament with a 593 (+25), followed by Angelo State (611/+43) and Northwestern Oklahoma State (613/+45) in the six team field.
Senior
Sofia Trevino led UTD with 73-79=152 (+10), tying for 11th. Junior
Mia Gaboriau had a 76-77=153 (+11), tying for 14th and
Andra Anderson was in 19th with a 76-82=158 (+16). Senior
Maddy Vilven tied for 20th with an 80-79=159 (+17).
Trevino made four birdies in the tournament while Gaboriau, Anderson and Vilven each sank three.
The Comets will return to action on September 30 at the Upstate Intercollegiate in Greer, S.C.
