SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The UT Dallas track & field teams competed at the Trinity Invitational and Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays on Friday and Saturday, and both of the women's relay school records were broken.
At Trinity on Saturday, the 4x100 meter relay team of
Tia Billingsly,
Randi Beckham,
Paige Thomas and
Mariah Gibson placed second in 48.82, breaking the school record set earlier this season by .53 seconds.Â
Rhiana Johnson,
Catriona Walker,
Madison Avery and Beckham followed in the 4x400, shaving 2.24 seconds off the old mark while finishing fifth.
Beckham was also the top finisher in the 100-meter dash at the Texas Relays in Austin on Friday in 12.92 seconds.
Freshman
Rowen Hughes finished seventh in the 100 hurdles in 15.96 seconds and ran the 400-meter hurdles in 1:09.03 for another seventh-place finish. Senior
Sage Herrera took seventh with an 800 time of 2:24.35. Gibson was 10th in the 200 in 26.39 seconds.

Ethan Turner had the highest finish, placing fourth with a 5,000-meter time of 15:48.24. Freshman
Nicholas Holland placed ninth in 1:56.44 in the 800.
JD Koller was fifth with a javelin throw of 43.99 meters (144 ft.-4 in.).
Zachary Carroll was ninth with a long jump of 6.45 meters (21 ft.-2 in.) and
Nick Hofer was 10th by clearing 1.86 meters (6 ft.-1.25 in.) in the high jump.
The 4x400 relay team of Hofer,

Matthew Okansen and
Rafe Premo were eighth in 3:24.11.
