RICHARDSON, Texas - UT Dallas senior Sofia Trevino was named the American Southwest Conference Women's Golfer of the Week on Wednesday.

Trevino, from The Woodlands, Texas, finished second at the West Region Invitational in Georgetown, Texas, on Monday and Tuesday. She shot a 78-74=151 (+7), sinking four birdies. Trevino's performance helped the Comets place second in the tournament.

This is her second Golfer of the Week honor of the season and fourth of her career.

UTD will wrap up the 2024-25 season at the Bethany College Classic in Newton, Kan. April 7-8.
