RICHARDSON, Texas - For the fourth time this season and sixth time of his career, graduate student Parker McCurdy was named the American Southwest Conference Men's Golfer of the Week on Wednesday.

McCurdy, from Seguin, Texas, tied for fourth at the Discover Dekalb Invitational in Conyers, Ga. Saturday and Sunday. He shot a +5, 75-73-73=221 and made 10 birdies, helping the Comets to a second-place finish in the last tournament of the season.

McCurdy broke the school records for both season scoring average (72.09) and career average (72.60).
